With the accelerated popularization of smart homes, the network security of consumer connected cameras is increasingly receiving social attention. Recently, a total of 53 consumer network connected cameras under 5 brands including ZTE, Huacheng, and Haique have completed network security capability testing by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology/China Tyr Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as "China Academy of Information and Communications Technology") and successfully registered on the network security label registration management platform (www.cncsl. cn), becoming the first batch of products to complete registration.

1、 Policy background: Implementation of network security identification system
In April 2026, the State Internet Information Office, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Public Security jointly issued the Measures for the Administration of Network Security Signs; In June, the "Catalogue of Products Implementing Network Security Labeling (First Batch)" and the "Implementation Rules for Network Security Labeling of Consumer Connected Cameras" were officially released, and consumer connected cameras became the first batch of products to implement network security labeling management.

3、 Regarding network security signage: Three star rating to understand security level
The network security label is an information label that can reflect the level of network security capability of the product itself. According to the Implementation Rules for Network Security Labeling of Consumer Connected Cameras, the network security capabilities of products are divided into three levels from low to high: basic level, enhanced level, and leading level, corresponding to one star, two star, and three star labels, respectively.

4、 Regarding Network Security Capability Testing: Full Coverage of Five Dimensions
The network security capability testing is based on the "Network Security Standard Practice Guide - Security Requirements for Consumer Network Connected Cameras with Network Security Identification" (TC260-PG-2025A), and is carried out around five dimensions:
Physical and hardware security: anti disassembly, anti tampering, debugging interface control, etc;
System and software security: no weak passwords, vulnerability management mechanisms, continuous software updates, etc;
Network and communication security: security of communication protocols and encryption schemes, etc;
Data Security and Personal Information Protection: Sensitive Personal Information Desensitization Processing, Video Data Storage and Transmission Security, etc;
Security assurance: the producer's ability to develop, operate, and respond to emergencies in a secure manner.
The product must meet all the requirements of the same level item by item in order to obtain the corresponding level
