By 2035, the urban renewal system and mechanism will be more perfect, and significant achievements will be made in optimizing urban structure, transforming driving forces, improving quality, green transformation, cultural continuity, and enhancing governance efficiency. This will demonstrate the basic construction of a modern people's city with a prosperous and peaceful Tianfu, beautiful and peaceful Bashan and Shushui, and a happy and comfortable life for the people.

The "Plan" transforms the overall requirements of national planning into a "6+2" project implementation system. On the one hand, it systematically plans six major infrastructure projects for urban renewal in Sichuan Province, focusing on the national requirements for urban underground pipelines, old residential areas, municipal facilities, urban villages, old block factories, and urban public spaces; On the other hand, according to regional importance and spatial clustering, two key projects are planned: the "Traction Renewal Project of Chengdu Metropolitan Area and Provincial Economic Sub center" and the "Urban Renewal Project of Hundred Pieces and Hundred Billion Yuan". At the same time, the implementation system of the "6+2" project will be further refined and broken down, classified into columns for each key task, and the key projects to be implemented for different key tasks will be clarified.

The Plan clearly states that it will strengthen guarantees from five aspects: organization, policies, regulatory standards, talent and technology, monitoring, evaluation and early warning, establish a sustainable urban renewal policy system, and establish a provincial "15th Five Year Plan" urban renewal project library as support.
