Basic materials: ABS resin and PC (polycarbonate) are commonly used in civilian and conventional scenarios, such as cycling helmets, which have both impact resistance and lightweight, weighing mostly 300-500g, with no obvious burden on wearing.


High end materials: helmets are often made of aramid (Kevlar) and carbon fiber. For example, the US military's FAST helmet uses aramid fiber, which weighs only 1.2-1.5kg, but can withstand close range shooting of 9mm bullets.
